The Understated Brown

'The Understated Brown' was formed in 2004 under the tutelage of Thomas Meadowcroft, Boris Hauf and Steve Heather. Although flirting with other musical styles and idioms, 'The Understaded Brown' takes much of its repertoire from 1970's super-rock classics (Supertramp, Boston, ELO etc.) and re-arranges them into an exciting continuum of loops and grooves for electric organ, analogue synths and percussion. We do this so that the kids of today can have the opportunity to experience this unique but often overlooked body of popular music in a live musical setting.
